The demand for implementing 42% reservations for Backward Classes (BCs) in private educational institutions and employment received a major boost at the BC Mahasabha, which brought together top national and state leaders, along with hundreds of community representatives.
The meeting, conducted by Nandagopal and Gujja Krishna, turned into a strong call for social justice, with unanimous voices urging the government to immediately bring the 42% BC Reservation Bill into effect. Key National Leaders Speak Out:
R. Krishnaiah, MP & National BC Welfare Association President
“The 42% reservation Bill is not just a demand but a constitutional right. Lakhs of BC students are being forced to discontinue education due to non-implementation. The government must act immediately.”
Bandaru Dattatreya, Former Governor
“Education and employment are powerful equalizers. Denying BCs their rightful share means denying equality. The government should pass this Bill without further delay.”

Without his sacrifices and unwavering vision, the BC movement would never have reached this level of unity and recognition.
