Chief Judge Shashidhar Reddy Launches 108 Ambulance Services at Hyderabad City Civil Court

Hyderabad: City Civil Court Chief Judge S. Shashidhar Reddy has emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups for advocates, who often work under the heavy pressure of daily case proceedings. He urged lawyers to prioritize their health and make use of available medical facilities.

On Monday, at the Hyderabad City Civil Court, the Chief Judge formally inaugurated the 108 ambulance services, made possible with the support of the Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Department, Hyderabad, and the EMRI Foundation, under the initiative of the City Civil Court Bar Association.

Speaking at the event, Judge Reddy highlighted that advocates, judges, litigants, and court staff should utilize the 108 services as part of safeguarding their well-being. He stressed that timely access to ambulance support can save lives in emergencies.

The Bar Association representatives also appealed for improved infrastructure within the court premises, including a library, safe drinking water facilities, and other basic amenities, to be funded through MLA and MP development allocations. They suggested approaching elected representatives to expedite these initiatives.

Judge Reddy further assured his support for establishing a full-fledged dispensary at the City Civil Court, to be set up soon under the Bar Association’s committee.

Prominent participants in the program included Bar Association members B. Ajay, Akula Srinivas, Rajireddy, Rakesh Kulkarni, Nirmala, Afzal Pasha, Prasanna Lakshmi, Advocate Society President Sunil Ganu, Director Apparao, former directors Janardhan, C.V. Narayana, Konduru Vinod Kumar, Gopalakrishna, and Thirumal Rao, among others.
