AIPC National Executive Meeting in Hyderabad Brings Together All Professional Verticals to Shape Aspirational Politics

Hyderabad, January 9, 2026:
The All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC) on Friday held its National Executive Meeting in Hyderabad, bringing together professionals from across the country for extensive deliberations on the theme “Fostering a Politics of Aspiration.” The meeting reaffirmed AIPC’s growing role as a platform where professional expertise—particularly from India’s entrepreneurial and MSME ecosystem—feeds directly into progressive political thinking and public policy.

The day-long meeting was chaired by AIPC Chairman Praveen Chakravarthy, who steered focused, outcome-oriented discussions aimed at strengthening rights-based, inclusive, and future-ready public policy. Reviewing the organisation’s work during 2025, the National Executive laid out a clear roadmap for 2026, with emphasis on translating professional knowledge into meaningful political engagement and governance outcomes.

Vertical leaders representing MSMEs, followed by finance and financial services, healthcare, academia and research, information technology, agricultural professionals, architecture, professional services, sports, civil society and policy research, LGBTQIA+ and social inclusion, chartered accountancy, gig workers, environment, and arts and culture, contributed domain-specific insights. The discussions focused on policy reform, institutional strengthening, inclusive growth, sustainability, entrepreneurship, employment generation, and the dignity of work.

Praveen Chakravarthy  stressed that contemporary politics must move beyond welfare-centric approaches to enable aspiration. He underlined the importance of empowering institutions, ensuring fair and transparent markets—especially for small and medium enterprises—promoting dignified livelihoods, and adopting inclusive growth models capable of meeting India’s future challenges.

He said AIPC is deliberately building a strong bridge between professional excellence and people-centric politics, ensuring that insights from MSMEs and other professional verticals directly inform governance.

The meeting was attended by Chief Guest Mohammad Azharuddin,Mohammad Azharuddin Hon’ble Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises, Government of Telangana, and former Indian cricket team captain. Engaging in an interactive question-and-answer session with AIPC professionals, the Minister shared insights on leadership, governance, and inclusive development, emphasising the role of entrepreneurship, public enterprises, and participatory policymaking in economic growth.

DEEPAK JOHN DCC The organisational impact of AIPC was also evident, with several senior members recently appointed as District Congress Committee (DCC) leaders in Telangana and other regions. Hyderabad DCC President Khalid and Secunderabad DCC President Deepak John, both former AIPC members, participated in the meeting and shared their experiences with professionals, underlining AIPC’s role as a leadership incubator within the Congress party.

Reflections from AIPC’s Dr. Manmohan Singh Fellows and members who contested the recently concluded Kerala local body elections further highlighted the increasing participation of professionals—particularly entrepreneurs, MSME leaders, and domain experts—in electoral politics and grassroots mobilisation.
