AICC Entrusts Key War Room Responsibility for ‘OBC HAQ KI HOONKAAR’ Nationwide Initiative

Hyderabad/New Delhi: Telangana’s Rudra Santhosh Kumar has been entrusted with a significant national organisational responsibility in the Congress party’s ambitious 100-day ‘OBC HAQ KI HOONKAAR’ campaign, placing him among the coordinators involved in the party’s nationwide mobilisation around caste enumeration and OBC-related issues.

According to information provided by party sources, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Santhosh Kumar as a War Room Coordinator as part of an 11-member team constituted for the national campaign. An official communication concerning the team has reportedly been issued by the AICC.

100-Day Nationwide Campaign

The campaign is designed to sustain a coordinated national discussion around the inclusion of caste enumeration in the Census and the systematic collection of demographic and socio-economic data relating to OBCs and other social groups.

Over the course of 100 days, the initiative is expected to involve organisational programmes, public outreach and coordination across multiple levels of the Congress structure.

The War Room is expected to play an important coordinating role by connecting campaign activities across states, reviewing organisational progress and facilitating communication between national and grassroots teams.

Telangana Leader Takes National Responsibility

Santhosh Kumar’s inclusion in the national campaign team gives a Telangana representative a role in coordinating an initiative extending beyond the state and into the Congress party’s nationwide organisational framework.

The responsibility also comes as caste enumeration and OBC representation continue to occupy a prominent place in the national political discourse.

With the ‘OBC HAQ KI HOONKAAR’ campaign planned as a sustained 100-day exercise, the AICC team will be tasked with translating the campaign’s national framework into coordinated programmes across states and organisational units.
