The mangoes are one reason to feel happy about this year’s summertime. The king of fruits is seen at every other intersection in the city, despite its scarcity.
You might as well make something out of this amazing fruit if you are already paying a hefty sum to taste it. Here are six simple mango dishes that you can make without much effort.
Mango Salsa
This less common dish is becoming more and more well-liked these days. It’s simple to make with just six staple ingredients. Finely chop ripe mangos, red onion, bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime. Add some salt and pepper.
Mango Iced Tea
Blend your mango chunks first. Add water and a little sugar syrup. After the mango puree has chilled, make some black tea on its own and add it to it with the ice cubes. Making this takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Aam Panna
Everyone’s favorite summertime beverage in North India is this well-known beverage. Mango raw pieces are pressure-cooked for two to three whistles. When finished, allow it to cool before removing the pulp and putting it in a jar. Blend the mango pulp, sugar, salt, spices, and mint until smooth. You can use the pulp for several days, mixing water every time you drink.
Mango Panakam
This is another simple recipe that is typically seen in South India. After removing all of the pulp, put your mangoes in a bowl. Add the poppy seeds, dry fruits, and sugar. To go with it, prepare some puris or fry the traditional papad.
Mango Smoothie
Any fruit can be used to make a delicious smoothie. It won’t take more than ten minutes to prepare. To make a smoothie, chop the fruit and add sugar, milk, and any other ingredients you like. After thoroughly blending, let it cool for a bit.
Popsicles with mangos
This recipe is simple, but it takes a lot of time to prepare. Blend mango chunks, honey, and milk until you add enough water or milk to make it liquidy. Carefully insert the sticks after pouring them into the popsicle mold. Freeze them for an entire night.
