Tempest Advertising Blood Donation: The marketing agency organised a Blood Donation Drive on the occasion of World Blood Donation Drive
Tempest Advertising, has organised a Blood Donation Drive across their branches – Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Pune, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. Several volunteers came forward to give their token of life at all three metros making the blood donation camp a success.
“With promoting branding and consumerism across sectors, we take pride in also promoting the need for good deeds such as blood donation. I am elated to see the amount of participation and the zeal to save lives among volunteers,” expressed Turab Lakdawala, Managing Director, Tempest Advertising.
The donation drive in Hyderabad, in association with Rotary Club of Hyderabad Deccan and Sai Sagar Heights Residents Welfare Association, was organised at Sai Sagar Heights, Prakash Nagar, Begumpet, which saw an active participation of several volunteers including residents, corporate employees of different organisations and Tempestians who took pride in doing their bit for society.
Emphasising on the increasing need for blood donations in the country, Archana Panda, Operations Head, Rotary Challa Blood Center said, “In India, every 2 seconds one patient needs a blood transfusion. Moreover, blood donations are used for patients in need of surgery, cancer treatment, and transfusion for blood loss from traumatic injuries. Thus, blood is the most precious gift one can give to any person.”
The blood donation drive instilled a sense of responsibility for society among Tempestians and fellow volunteers. The drive also took forward Tempest’s theme of making a difference (GO MAD) in society.
