Besides, the best swimmer and diver and the most proficient volleyball player may also participate in the sports. All applicants must be 17 ½ years of age but not more than 21 years. Job requirements differ from one position to another. The minimum educational level required for a job varies from Class 10 / Matric pass to 10 2 / Intermediate exam pass and sometimes with the specific subjects.
Those who are eligible are required to be at the 4 Training Battalion of Koteswar Dwar 5 am on June 20. They can start the rally then.

Who are Agniveers?
This is one of the controversial army reform which was initiated by the NDA government. On 14th of June 2022, the Union Ministers made a remarkable announcement of a recruitment plan for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces, that they called AGNIPATH, and those selected for this program are called Agniveers. The young people who are patriotic and dedicated to their duty can be the volunteers of the Armed Forces and serve the country for four years through the AGNIPATH scheme.
