In a moment of pride and progress, Bhaskar Law College under the esteemed J.B. Educational Society (JBES) inaugurated its new state-of-the-art academic building in Hyderabad on Thursday. The grand ceremony reflected the institution’s unwavering commitment to excellence in legal education and nation-building.
Declaring the building open, the Honorable Secretary of JBES, J.V. Krishna Rao, described the occasion as more than the unveiling of a new structure. “Today marks not just the opening of a structure made of bricks and mortar but the realization of a vision,” he said. He emphasized that within these walls, future advocates, judges, policymakers, scholars, and community leaders will be shaped.
He further stated that the new building stands as a symbol of the institution’s dedication to nurturing legal minds who will uphold the Constitution, protect fundamental rights, and serve society with integrity. “With great pride and optimism, I declare this new law college building open. May it stand for generations as a beacon of justice, wisdom, and integrity,” he added.
The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education. In his address, he highlighted the pivotal role of quality legal education in strengthening constitutional values and the rule of law. He lauded the management of JBES for creating a modern academic infrastructure that promotes excellence, research, and professional competence among budding legal professionals.
“Lawyers are not merely professionals; they are guardians of justice, defenders of truth, and architects of social change,” he remarked, underscoring the transformative power of legal education in a democratic society.
Guest of Honour Prof. N. Venkateshwarlu, Dean and Head of the Faculty of Law, appreciated the institution’s initiative in developing a contemporary academic environment aligned with global legal education standards. He stressed the importance of integrating practical training, research orientation, and strong ethical grounding in legal studies.
The newly inaugurated building is a testament to architectural excellence and thoughtful planning. Nestled in a serene suburban setting, the campus offers a clean and green environment conducive to focused learning and intellectual growth, reinforcing the college’s commitment to holistic development.
Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Director of JBES, noted that the new facility aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 introduced by the Government of India. He stated that higher education must foster multidisciplinary learning, research, innovation, and overall personality development. “This new building is a step forward in fulfilling that national vision within our own campus,” he said.
The Principal expressed gratitude to the chief guest and other dignitaries for gracing the occasion and reaffirmed the institution’s mission to nurture competent, socially responsible, and ethically grounded legal professionals.
The event was attended by principals of the JB Group of Institutions, invited guests, faculty members, and supporting staff, making it a proud and memorable day in the history of Bhaskar Law College.
