On March 24 with the news of filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar passing away
Sarkar was developing a biography about the life of the late Bollywood star Priya Rajvansh. Sarkar is recognised for several of his major films, including “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S,” “Parineeta,” “Mardaani,” and others.
Priya Rajvansh passed away strangely; Deepak Mukut will produce the film “Priya Interrupted” about her death. Producer Deepak is stunned and heartbroken by the late director’s demise because he was set to begin filming “Priya Interrupted” this year.
He disclosed: “The death of Pradeep Da has left me feeling really sad. He was not only a highly gifted storyteller and filmmaker, but he was also tremendously enthusiastic and dedicated to his profession. Everyone was awaiting his direction of the difficult project “Priya Interrupted” after its announcement since he was the ideal candidate. The loss of Pradeep Da has created a big gap in the Indian film industry that will be hard to replace. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace, “The producer added.
Dhaakad, “Thank God,” “Bal Naren,” “Mulk,” and “Forensic” are among Deepak’s best-known works. Priya Interrupted and Apne 2, which stars Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Karan Deol, were two of his future films. Together with Sanjay Dutt, he also released “The Virgin Tree” and “Blind Game,” which was starring Arjun Rampal and Priyamani and was helmed by Sangeeth Sivan.
