Hyderabad:
A preparatory meeting for the 26th Convocation of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) was held yesterday at the university campus, bringing together alumni leaders, faculty members, and senior officials to finalize arrangements for the prestigious ceremony.
During the meeting, alumni representatives Saka Venkateswara Rao and Shashank Pasupuleti were officially entrusted with key responsibilities for organizing the convocation, reflecting the university’s commitment to strengthening alumni participation.
It was confirmed that His Excellency, the Governor of Telangana, Jishu Dev, will preside over the event and present gold medals to the university’s top achievers. The convocation will also be attended by several eminent academics, dignitaries, and public figures.
Venugopal Reddy, Head of the I\&PR Department, offered valuable suggestions to streamline the event, while Habib shared his professional guidance to support smooth execution. The meeting was coordinated under the leadership of Nodal Officer B. Dharma, who received resounding support from alumni and students across Telangana.
