Kukatpally, June 24, 2024 – Diners at Mehfil Biryani in Kukatpally were appalled to discover bugs in their chicken pieces. The incident was reported to the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana (@cfs_telangana) via Twitter.
In response, food delivery service Swiggy offered a partial refund of ₹ 64 on a bill totaling ₹ 318, prompting criticism for the inadequate compensation.
