Mumbai | November 11, 2025 — Legendary actor Dharmendra, affectionately known as Bollywood’s He-Man, passed away at the age of 89 in Mumbai. The veteran star, whose charm, strength, and versatility defined an era of Hindi cinema, leaves behind an extraordinary legacy spanning over six decades.

Dharmendra, born Dharam Singh Deol, starred in more than 250 films, including timeless classics like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Phool Aur Patthar, and Yaadon Ki Baaraat. His powerful screen presence, combined with warmth and humility off-screen, made him one of India’s most beloved film icons.

He is survived by his wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and their six children, including actors Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Esha Deol.
