Director K sandeep’s debut Film ‘Emi sethura Linga’ impresses with realistic and organic treatment

Known for its compelling stories and realistic pictures, ‘Amy Sethura Linga’, a passionate social romantic drama about coming of age love, continues to captivate audiences as its Aha video was released released on May 19. Director K Sandeep has released his. he made his directorial debut, and has won praise for his authentic and organic storytelling.

Produced by Sandeep and Murali Krishna, the film has a talented team, including cinematographer Abhiraj Nair and music director Jane Martin. Academy Award winner Resul Pookutty lent his expertise in the film’s sound design, further enhancing the immersive experience.

In a recent interview, K Sandeep shared insights on his background and journey in the world of filmmaking. Despite his childhood interest in film, he obtained an engineering and masters degree in remote sensing and GIS as an academic qualification. But his main goal was always to establish himself in the film industry. Before ‘Amy Sethura Linga’, Sandeep gained some directing experience by doing short films while in Thailand.

Reflecting on his learning experiences, Sandeep stresses the importance of understanding the do’s and don’ts of filmmaking. He acknowledges the challenges of the filmmaking journey, especially getting the film released and marketing the film effectively. Bringing films to audiences and making people aware of their existence is an even bigger obstacle.

Delving into the character of the male protagonist by Vinod Verma, Sandeep notes the relatability factor for those aspiring to pursue an unconventional or dreamy career He describes the character as somewhat introverted, confused and dropped sometimes provoking in situations and circumstances in which he finds himself or unusual dream sensations.
