Fake State Convener Arrested: 22-Year-Old scammer cheats Students in seat allotment scam

Warning to Students: Fraudster Preys on Desperation,  for Impersonating State Convener in Seat Scam

LB Nagar Police have successfully apprehended a young man, aged 22, who deceived numerous individuals by masquerading as a state convener and offering them seats in various universities and colleges. The suspect, identified as Katta Jaswath Goud alias Bablu Goud,  a resident of Fathullaguda near Nagole, claimed to hold the position of State Convener of the BC Union. However, investigations revealed that he had been expelled from the BC organization, as confirmed by National President R. Krishnaiaha, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and then this Fake State Convener Arrested.

Under the guise of securing admissions, BabuluGoud managed to amass lakhs of rupees from unsuspecting victims. One such victim, Amarendra, a retired Navy officer from Ramanthapur, sought assistance from Babulu Goud, an intermediary, to secure a BE seat for his daughter at Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology College in Narayanguda. Last September, Amarendra handed over Rs 10 lakhs to Goud, who promised to facilitate the admission. However, after waiting for several days without any communication from the college, Amarendra confronted the management, only to learn that no money had been received for the seat.

Shocked by this revelation, Amarendra discovered that the two checks he had given to Babulu Goud were worthless, as Goud had allegedly utilized the funds for personal purposes. Subsequently, Amarendra lodged a complaint with the LB Nagar Police, prompting a thorough investigation that spanned several months. Finally, on Monday, the police succeeded in apprehending Goud, who was subsequently remanded in custody on Tuesday.

The public is urging the police department to recognition special interest on stopping such fraudulent people from operating inside society. Parents and college students continue to go through because of the moves of such culprits, and they call for speedy and decisive action to be taken against them. This incident serves as a reminder for all and sundry to stay careful and vigilant when coping with individuals claiming to offer admission opportunities. The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate echoes this sentiment and stays devoted to upholding justice and safeguarding the hobbies of the general public.
