Mexico has secured a significant global moment as Fatima Bosch claimed the Miss Universe 2025 title during the pageant’s 74th edition in Thailand. Competing against over 100 contestants, Bosch’s victory marks Mexico’s first win in five years, igniting national pride and international admiration.
Bosch, a 25-year-old fashion and apparel designer from Villahermosa, Tabasco, stood out not only for her poise but also for her compelling personal journey. Having navigated dyslexia, ADHD and hyperactivity, she transformed her challenges into strengths, advocating for neurodiversity and empowerment.
Her educational path spans three countries—Mexico, Italy and the United States—studying at institutions such as Universidad Iberoamericana, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan) and Lyndon Institute (Vermont). Bosch is also recognised for her work in sustainable fashion, crafting garments from repurposed materials.
A long-time volunteer, she began community service at age 14 through initiatives like Corazón Migrante and Ruta Monarca, uplifting children, migrants and vulnerable communities. Her dedication to humanitarian causes played a key role in shaping her Miss Universe narrative.
With her win, Fatima Bosch not only celebrates a personal triumph but also elevates Mexico’s presence on the global cultural stage.
