In a significant development, the Shamirpet police have registered a case against former Minister and Medchal MLA, Former Minister Malla Reddy along with others, on charges of cheating and abuse. The complaint was lodged by K Bikshapathi, a 74-year-old resident of Chegunta mandal, Medchal district, alleging a fraudulent transfer of land.
The complaint accuses Mallareddy and his associates of cheating the Bikshapati family and transferring the ownership of about 47 acres of land. This alleged fraud was compounded by the cruelty to the family.
