Hyderabad : Dr. Yadagiri Kambhampati, the Secretary of the Public Relations Society of India’s (PRSI) Hyderabad Chapter and Assistant Professor at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, has been conferred with the prestigious National Best Secretary Award. The award, announced in New Delhi on Friday, comes as recognition of his tireless efforts in advancing the Hyderabad Chapter to national prominence.
The accolade highlights Dr. Yadagiri’s significant contribution to the chapter’s dynamic growth, marking him as a standout figure in India’s public relations community. The PRSI national leadership, while announcing the award, lauded his instrumental role in shaping the chapter’s initiatives and expanding its influence. In a double win, the Hyderabad Chapter was also named the Best Chapter, showcasing its leadership in the field of PR.
Both awards will be presented at the PRSI’s All India Conference, to be held in Raipur from December 20 to 22, 2024. The conference is expected to bring together professionals from across the country to discuss the evolving role of public relations in a changing world.
Celebrating the momentous occasion, Prof. Vaddanam Srinivas Rao, Dean of Social Sciences at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, congratulated Dr. Yadagiri and felicitated him with a sapling, symbolizing growth and sustainability. “It’s a moment of pride for the university and for the entire Hyderabad PR community,” Prof. Rao remarked during a brief ceremony at the university.
Dr. S. Ramu, Chairman of PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, also extended his congratulations, noting Dr. Yadagiri’s mentorship under the legendary Dr. C.V. Narasimha Reddi. “He’s been the driving force behind the chapter’s success, organizing professional development programs with remarkable ease and dedication,” Dr. Ramu added.
With the Hyderabad Chapter now firmly in the national spotlight, the PRSI All India Conference in Raipur promises to be an event to remember, celebrating the best minds in public relations across the country.
