Hyderabad-based wildlife photographer Jeet Aman has won a special award at the Global Big Cats Photography Competition 2025 for his mesmerizing image titled “Leopard with Full Moon.” His photograph, selected from over 1,400 global entries, ranked sixth among the top eight chosen by the international jury.
The award was presented by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav during a ceremony attended by dignitaries from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Ministry of External Affairs, ambassadors of big cat range countries, and leading conservation organizations.
“This is my first major award, and it means a lot to me,” said the 58-year-old Jeet Aman, who has been passionate about capturing wildlife moments that highlight the harmony between nature and light.
