On October 2nd, M.G. Road secunderabad buzzed with activity as the community gathered in large numbers to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti at the iconic Gandhi statue. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to reflect on Gandhi’s enduring legacy and contributions to the nation.
Dr. Kota Nilma, General Secretary of the PCC, emphasized the importance of unity in his address, quoting the powerful lines from “Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram, eshwar Allah terea Nam,” which highlight the need for harmony among all communities.
The celebration also saw participation from various organizations, including the North Zone Police, represented by Mahakali CI Parshuram, and the GHMC Sanitation Department, demonstrating a collective commitment to upholding Gandhi’s principles.
A blood donation camp was organized as part of the festivities, further reflecting Gandhi’s spirit of service and community welfare.
Notable attendees included State BC Youth Vice President Shashank Pasupuleti, senior Congress leader Ghouse, congress leaders Vishal Sudham, Abhishek adapa Tirkala Manoj, Kareem ,Syed Yadhulla , Musthafa Venkatesh, and Bharath, and all youth and congress leaders contributing to a day filled with remembrance and meaningful action.
