The inaugural Hockey India Masters Cup 2025, held at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium, Chennai, from June 18–27, concluded with Odisha lifting the Women’s title and Tamil Nadu clinching the Men’s title.
Organised for men aged 40+ and women aged 35+, the tournament witnessed spirited participation from 12 men’s and 8 women’s teams across India.
Women’s Final:
- Champion: Hockey Association of Odisha
- Runner-up: Hockey Punjab (1–0)
- Goal Scorer: Ranjita Beck (Odisha)
- Bronze: Hockey Haryana beat Tamil Nadu (4–3)
Men’s Final:
- Champion: Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu
- Runner-up: Hockey Maharashtra (5–0)
- Goal Scorers: Muthuselvan D, Sudharsan S, Govthaman, Thamaraikannan, Ramadoss V
- Bronze: Hockey Chandigarh beat Odisha (2–1)
The Masters Cup promoted veteran participation, regional pride, and sporting spirit. Hockey India, the sport’s governing body, continues to foster grassroots and elite development through such inclusive events.
