Pallavi International School, Bachupally, in association with AIESEC, organized a multicultural event titled ‘Global Peace Village’ aimed at promoting global unity, cultural exchange, and peace among students.
The event was inaugurated by Abhilasha Bisht, IPS officer from the Telangana Police Academy, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on embracing diversity and contributing to a peaceful world. Also present were , Geeta Bhaskar from the film industry, who participated in a panel discussion highlighting the importance of international cooperation and cultural understanding.
Volunteers from countries including Egypt, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Morocco, the Netherlands, Turkey, Cameroon, and India set up interactive country stalls. Each stall presented elements of traditional clothing, crafts, customs, and food, offering students an immersive cultural learning experience.
The campus was transformed into a miniature global village, featuring artistic installations of international landmarks, global quiz zones, and food counters serving popular street snacks. Educational booths by IDP Education and Academia Abroad Consultancy offered guidance on studying overseas, while real estate firm Myron provided insights into international property trends.
The event ensured active participation across all grade levels with structured schedules that allowed every student to engage meaningfully.
Global Peace Village stood out as more than a cultural fair it was a thoughtful platform that encouraged empathy, broadened perspectives, and strengthened the school’s commitment to fostering well-rounded, globally aware citizens.
