Pallavi International School Carnival Celebrates Culture and Community

 

Pallavi International School, Sagar Road, came alive with excitement and energy during its vibrant carnival, held from January 24 to January 26, 2025. Themed “Swarnim Bharat,” the event celebrated India’s rich heritage and culture while fostering a sense of community among students, parents, teachers, and the local populace.

The carnival’s highlight was the second-day inter-school dance competition on January 25, which saw participation from over 18 schools in the region. Renowned classical dancer, actress, and television host Mrs. Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri attended as the Chief Guest, adding grace and prestige to the event.

The festivities began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by mesmerizing classical dance performances that warmly welcomed guests. In her address, Mrs. Vemuganti emphasized the significance of nurturing cultural appreciation and providing creative platforms for students. Executive Director, Mr. Rajshekhar Reddy, also addressed the audience, stressing the importance of balancing academics with extracurricular activities for holistic development.

The contest showcased stunning performances blending traditional and contemporary dance forms, captivating the audience with exceptional talent and creativity.

Adding to the festive atmosphere were numerous stalls offering a variety of entertainment, shopping, and culinary experiences. Renowned brands such as Vaastu Finance, Kia Motors, Maruti, Deccan Honda, Decathlon, and leading jewelry and clothing companies participated, enriching the event.

The day concluded with the announcement of winners by Headmaster Mr. Sivaji Neelam. Delhi Public School, Nadergul, clinched the top spot, earning ₹10,000 in prize money. Delhi Public School, Mahendra Hills, and HRD School secured second and third places, receiving ₹5,000 and ₹3,000, respectively.

The three-day carnival ended on a high note, leaving attendees with cherished memories. With enthusiastic participation, stellar performances, and strong community involvement, the event was hailed as a resounding success and a testament to the school’s dedication to fostering culture and unity.
