Rotary Club of Hyderabad Midtown Holds 42nd Installation Ceremony


Hyderabad: The Rotary Club of Hyderabad Midtown celebrated its 42nd Installation Ceremony at the Country Club, Begumpet, with District Governor 3150 K Sharath Choudary and First Lady Sahiti in attendance. Retired IAS Officer Dr. Daphne Margaret de Rebello was the Chief Guest at the event.

During the ceremony, Amardeep Singh was inaugurated as the new President of the club, with Hajira Adeeb taking on the role of Secretary. In his speech, President Singh expressed gratitude to Immediate Past President Nidhi Anand for her exceptional service and pledged to embrace this year’s theme, “Magic of Rotary,” by boosting club membership and continuing sustainable community projects.

Dr. Daphne Margaret praised the club’s social service initiatives and extended her congratulations to President Singh and Secretary Adeeb. Deputy Governor Seetha Vuppala inducted new members Sidharth Vijai and Jyoti Chhabaria into the club.

District Governor Sharath Choudary urged members to focus on long-term sustainable projects benefiting the community.

The ceremony also saw several philanthropic announcements: Girija Sampath pledged a scholarship for an underprivileged girl and a donation to a home for mentally challenged individuals; Seema Kumar and Prem Kumar donated an advanced sewing machine to those in need; and Vijaylaxmi Shekhawat contributed food for an old age home.

In addition, President Singh and Secretary Adeeb honored Club Mentor Vijaylaxmi Shekhawat, Charter Member PSN Prasad, and senior member Sharad Koratkar for their contributions. Secretary Hajira Adeeb concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
