If there is an actor who is unlucky, who is bruised by a series of flops, it is probably Naga Shaurya. Because he has been trying all sorts of genres – action, romance and you name it, nothing seems to be working out for him at this juncture.
‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ was a good bet. He transformed well for the character and he really worked hard to get into the shoes of Avasarala Srinivas. But the flops kept haunting him.
So the film ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ is nothing short of all his flop films ‘Kanam’, Narthanasala, Ashwathama’, ‘Varudu Kavalenu’, Lakshya, Ammammagarillu and Krishna Vrinda Vihari’. But ‘Oh Baby’ somewhat gave him respite because of the supporting sort of role he played in the Samantha starrer.
Now the future looks very bleak for the actor as there are no projects in hand. All that he has been waiting for is a break. Good break that makes him recognised as a good actor. With one more flop being added to his cap, he is back to square one.
