Half days schools from tomorrow: The Telangana government has decided to start half day schools from March 15 to April 24 because of the hot weather.
This change is to help students stay comfortable and safe during the hot months.
All Schools Included: This new schedule affects many schools. Whether a school is running by the government, getting help from the government, or is private, it needs to follow these new times.
School Hours Change: Schools will now open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 12:30 p.m. Right after school ends at 12:30 p.m., students will get their mid-day meal.
Extra Classes
For 10th class: Even with shorter days, 10th-grade students will not miss out. They have final exams coming up, so their special classes will still happen.
Schools holding these exams will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for them.
By making school days shorter, the government wants to make sure students don’t get too hot and can still learn well.
With this plan, the Telangana government is showing they care about keeping students comfortable and focused during hot weather.
