Hyderabad:
Shashank Pasupuleti, TPCC Legal Cell Coordinator, has objected to the language used by Sanath Nagar MLA Thalasani Srinivas Yadav in reference to matters concerning the Hon’ble Chief Minister, stating that the remarks were inappropriate and contrary to democratic decorum.
Addressing the media, Pasupuleti said that as a responsible citizen of Secunderabad, he remains conscious of the city’s historical legacy and future aspirations, and emphasized that elected representatives must exercise restraint and dignity in public discourse.
He stated that the language attributed to the MLA does not befit an elected representative and has the potential to hurt public sentiment and disturb social harmony. Pasupuleti called upon Thalasani Srinivas Yadav to withdraw the remarks and issue a public clarification.
Pasupuleti confirmed that a petition has already been filed at Begumpet Police Station by Kota Neelima, her team, and Shashank Pasupuleti, requesting appropriate action in accordance with law.
Clarifying the intent, Pasupuleti said the petition was filed as a constitutional and civic step to safeguard public dignity, democratic values, and responsible governance, and not as a political move.
