Hyderabad: Continuing the nationwide “Chhatron Ki Goonj” campaign initiated by Shri Rahul Gandhi, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) SC Department organized an interactive programme with students at the SC Boys Hostel, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, focusing on the challenges confronting India’s education system and the future of the country’s youth.

Addressing the gathering, Thummala Sandeep Bhushan, General Secretary, TPCC SC Department, expressed serious concern over what he described as the deteriorating standards of the education system. Referring to the NEET examination paper leak, he alleged that repeated irregularities in national-level competitive examinations have eroded the confidence of lakhs of students who invest years of hard work preparing for such tests.

Sandeep Bhushan also highlighted the alarming rise in the number of educated unemployed youth, stating that despite obtaining academic qualifications, many young people continue to struggle for meaningful employment opportunities. He said the issue reflects deeper structural challenges that require urgent policy intervention and greater investment in education, skill development, and job creation.

Criticizing the Union Government’s handling of the education sector, he held the Ministry of Education accountable for repeated examination-related controversies and demanded the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, asserting that responsibility must be fixed for the failures that have affected students across the country.

The programme witnessed active participation from students, who shared their concerns regarding examination transparency, educational opportunities, and employment prospects. The interaction formed part of the broader “Chhatron Ki Goonj” initiative, which seeks to amplify students’ voices and bring their concerns to the forefront of public discourse.

The TPCC SC Department reiterated its commitment to advocating for an education system that is transparent, equitable, and capable of providing quality opportunities to every student, while ensuring that the aspirations of India’s youth remain central to the nation’s development agenda.
