Festival Committee for Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad
Hyderabad, July 7, 2025:
The Endowments Department of Telangana has officially issued orders for the constitution of a Festival Committee to oversee the smooth conduct of upcoming festivities at the historic Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple, Mahakali Street, Secunderabad.
According to proceedings issued in Rc.No.F4/9153/2025 by the Commissioner of Endowments, the committee will hold office from July 11 to July 14, 2025. The appointments have been made under the powers conferred by Section 15 of the Telangana Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, and the Appointment of Trustee Rules, 1987.
The newly constituted Festival Committee comprises the following members:

- Raghula Krishna
- E Pandurangam
- Rakesh Agarwal
- Avula Srinivas
- Vonnamala Anil Kumar
- Gunti Mallikarjun
- Gundelli Devi Vara Prasad
- Ethakula Venugopal Goud
- Peetla Jagadish
- Shambulu Srikanth Goud
The Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department, Secunderabad, has been instructed to take the necessary action to facilitate the committee’s functioning during the festival period.
Officials stated that the committee’s primary responsibility will be to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the celebrations, which draw thousands of devotees each year.
