Guwahati, Assam – In a major crackdown on corruption, Assam Police arrested civil service officer Nupur Bora after seizing huge amounts of unaccounted wealth during a raid at her residence.
According to officials, Bora was taken into custody in connection with a disproportionate assets case and alleged involvement in a land scam.
During the raid, the police recovered ₹90 lakh in cash and gold jewellery worth over ₹1 crore from her residence. The startling revelations have raised questions over corruption and misuse of power in the state’s administrative machinery.
