FASTag Annual Pass Crosses 25 Lakh Users, Simplifies Highway Travel

The FASTag Annual Pass, launched on 15 August 2025, has quickly become a success, crossing 25 lakh users and recording 5.67 crore transactions in just two months. Introduced by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the pass offers a one-time payment of ₹3,000 for up to 200 National Highway or Expressway crossings, valid for one year.

Activated within two hours via the Rajmargyatra App or NHAI website, it enables seamless travel across 1,150 toll plazas without frequent recharges. Designed for non-commercial vehicles, it ensures faster toll clearance, reduced congestion, and improved travel efficiency.

While it covers National Highways and Expressways, payments for State Highways continue through the linked FASTag wallet. The milestone reflects growing public trust in NHAI’s digital infrastructure and its efforts to promote safe, fast, and efficient transport across India.
