Mithun Eshwar is a versatile artist known for his talents as a violinist, film music director, and playback singer. Often referred to as the “Walking Sensation Violinist,” Mithun has captivated audiences across south india with his unique musical style, combining classical Indian and fusion sounds. With music deeply rooted in his family background, Mithun has built a remarkable career that spans live performances, movie soundtracks, and international tours.

Growing up in a family of musicians, Mithun was immersed in music from an early age. His father, Madhu, is a prominent keyboard artist and his mentor, while his elder brother, Jithin, is also a known music composer. This rich musical environment helped him hone his skills, eventually leading him to earn a top-grade certification in piano and violin from London’s Trinity College.

Mithun has composed music for eight films across languages such as Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu, earning him widespread recognition. One of his most celebrated works is Amma Poovinum, the last recorded song by the legendary singer S. Janaki. Other popular songs by Mithun include Mulmuna from 10 Kalpanakal, Shiva Song, Jaaruthiruve from the Kannada film Soojidhara, Saaya, Nammara Nesthama in Telugu, and his English single I Am Not Lonely, produced by Sony Music.

Mithun’s live performances have become popular, particularly because of his “walking violinist” style. His band, Mithun Eshwar Project (also known as Mithun Eshwar Live), performs an extensive range of shows, including corporate events, college festivals, and private gatherings. He has also toured internationally, with successful shows in the US, UK, and Canada.

In addition to his work as a composer and performer, Mithun has contributed as a keyboard programmer, having worked on over 80 movies.

On the work front: Mithun is currently working on upcoming film projects in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, with announcements expected soon. He’s also focused on creating independent singles and continues to perform at numerous live shows, connecting with fans worldwide.
