Bhavitha Mandava Makes Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 List, Strengthening India’s Global Fashion Presence

Hyderabad-born model Bhavitha Mandava has been named to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list, marking a significant achievement in her rapidly rising international fashion career. Recognized in the Rising Talents category, she joins a select group of young changemakers shaping industries across Asia.

Bhavitha gained global attention after becoming the first Indian model to open Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2025 show, one of the luxury fashion house’s most prestigious runway events. In March 2026, she achieved another milestone when she was appointed Chanel’s Indian Brand Ambassador, reflecting the growing influence of Indian talent in the global luxury fashion industry.

Born in Hyderabad, Bhavitha initially pursued architecture at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) before moving to the United States for higher studies. She later enrolled in a master’s program in Assistive Technology at New York University (NYU). Her entry into the fashion world came unexpectedly after being discovered by a modeling agent at a Brooklyn subway station.
