Hyderabad, Telangana: Nalini, a former Deputy Superintendent of Police who resigned during the Telangana movement, has issued a public appeal for urgent medical assistance as her health deteriorates.
In a Facebook post, Nalini revealed she has been battling rheumatoid arthritis for eight years, now compounded by typhoid, dengue, and chikungunya, leaving her in a critical condition. A pharmacist by training, she avoided allopathic medicines due to severe side effects and relied on Ayurveda, yoga, and spiritual practices, but says her condition has worsened drastically.
Nalini also recalled the struggles she faced after resigning during the Telangana movement, enduring years of hardship before turning to spiritual service as the founder of the Ved Yajna Parirakshana Samiti (VYPS).
She appealed to authorities and the public for immediate, high-quality medical care and requested to be remembered not as a “suspended officer” but as a resigned officer, poet, and spiritual teacher. Nalini urged leaders to extend help now, rather than posthumous honors later.
Her message highlights both her service to society and the urgent need for compassionate support in her fight for life.
