GHMC to pay more attention to citizen complaints

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has ordered the officials of the respective departments to resolve the complaints received online through My GHMC App, GHMC website, dial 100 and call center.

On Thursday, he reviewed the pending complaints received online on various issues related to GHMC with the senior officials of various departments. On this occasion, the commissioner said that HODs should follow up the grievances received by department wise every day, and when the complaint is received, they should call the concerned complainant and find out, and call them as soon as they are resolved.

All the complaints related to the respective departments should be monitored at all times and people/complainants must be answered when they call. It is suggested that there should be no delay in resolving the complaints received by the respective departments.

In this meeting, HODs of respective departments K. Srivatsava, Sneha Sabarish, ENC Geo Uddin, CE Devanand, Additional Commissioners Ravi Kiran, Upender Reddy, Yadagiri Rao, Satyanarayana, Nalini Padmavathy, Mangathayar, Sunanda, CCP Rajendra Prasad Naik, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Padmaja, Chief Veterinary Dr. Abdul Vakil, Chief Entomology Dr. Rambabu, OSD Anuradha and others were present.

Moreover, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said that necessary measures have been taken with special focus on flood prevention in the city in the wake of monsoons.

He inspected the water stagnation points near Bata Showroom, Yashoda Hospital, Shilparamam and other areas in Madhapur Circle along with Zonal Commissioner Sneha Sabarish.

He directed the engineering authorities to send necessary proposals to take permanent measures to prevent flood water from stagnating and suggested to raise vents at Shilparamam and set up a rainwater harvesting pit next to it.
