Man Arrested in Hyderabad for Selling Adulterated Ginger-Garlic Paste

Police in Hyderabad have arrested a man for allegedly preparing and selling adulterated ginger-garlic paste in unhygienic conditions, posing serious risks to public health. The accused, identified as Mohd Abdullah from Borabanda, was taken into custody following a police raid.

According to officials, the accused used low-quality ginger and garlic to manufacture the paste and stored it in unsanitary conditions. He then packaged the product under the label “Sahara Ginger Garlic Paste” and supplied it to local wholesale shops.

A large quantity of the adulterated paste was seized during the operation. A case has been registered at the Borabanda police station, and further investigation is underway.

Authorities have warned consumers and vendors to remain cautious and ensure food safety standards, emphasizing strict action against those endangering public health through adulterated food products.
