India’s first AI Teacher Launches in Kerala

India’s first AI Teacher launched in Kerala, Santhigiri Vidhyabhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. Inaugurated by Dr. k. Rajeev ,Director of space physics laboratory.

The Robot created by Maker Labs. Maker Labs says in their website that “The AI Teacher Robot is an innovative voice assistant designed to aid in educational settings and DIY learning environments. Powered by the possibilities Robotics and Generative AI technologies, this robot serves as a versatile teaching tool with interactive capabilities. Equipped with a dedicated Intel processor and a coprocessor for maneuvering tasks, the robot offers seamless performance and responsiveness. With its Android App interface, users can easily control and interact with the robot for a personalized learning experience.”

KTCT Higher secondary school has introduced a humanoid as a teacher and named it Iris.

This pioneering school is a joint effort between iLearning Engines (ILE) USA and Vedhik eSchool and aims to change how students learn by using artificial intelligence (AI) and other high-tech methods.

Iris(AI) can speak muiltiple languages, along with features including interactive learing, answering, voice assistant.

How the School Works: 

The school stands out because it uses AI technologies like machine learning, understanding natural language, and analyzing data right in its lessons.

This means that students are taught in a way that suits them, making things clear and interesting.

The goal is to provide students with a well-rounded education to prepare them for the world of tomorrow.

The school welcomes 8th to 12th graders, providing various services to help them in their studies.

What It Teaches:

Besides regular subjects, the school also works on building important life skills in communication, math, manners, and understanding one’s emotions.
