The JB Educational Society celebrated its Annual Day, INXS 2026, on March 25, 2026, at its campus, bringing together students, parents, faculty, and distinguished guests for a day that highlighted academic achievement, talent, and institutional values.
The event was attended by G. Satheesh Reddy, Member of the National Security Advisory Board and former Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Also present was T. Subramanyeshwar Rao, Medical Director of the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute. Senior members of the institution’s management, including Secretary J. V. Krishna Rao, were also in attendance.
Presenting the annual report, Krishna Rao outlined the institution’s achievements across academics, sports, and co-curricular domains over the past year, reaffirming the society’s commitment to quality education and holistic student development.

A notable segment of the programme focused on inclusivity and resilience. Students from Netra Vidyalaya Junior and Degree College for the Blind were recognised for their excellence in sports. Twelve visually challenged athletes from Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad were honoured with gold medals and a cash award of ₹12,000 each, acknowledging their determination and achievements.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Satheesh Reddy encouraged students to pursue careers in science, technology, and innovation, stressing the importance of discipline, continuous learning, and research-driven growth for national development.
Dr. Subramanyeshwar Rao emphasised the importance of health, urging students to maintain balanced lifestyles amid growing lifestyle-related health concerns.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Director of JB Educational Society, who acknowledged the contributions of faculty, staff, and organisers in ensuring the success of the celebration.
The Annual Day served as a platform to celebrate achievement, promote inclusive excellence, and reinforce the institution’s focus on academic and personal development.
