To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, the BJP Quthbullapur unit organized a 5K Run from Shahpur to Katta Maisamma Temple, paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, party workers, and local residents, showcasing patriotic spirit and unity.
BJP State President N. Ramchandra Rao attended the event as the Chief Guest, encouraging participants and remembering the valor of Kargil heroes. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of our armed forces and instilling a sense of national pride in the younger generation.
Adding to the significance of the day, N. Ramchandra Rao also extended birthday wishes to Legal Cell Convener Sivanand Madapati, honoring him with a traditional shawl in recognition of his dedicated legal service to the party.
Several prominent leaders joined the event, including District President S. Malla Reddy, State OBC Morcha leader Nandanam Divakar, District General Secretary Vignesh, along with Girivardhan, Bharat Simha Reddy, Convener Shekhar Yadav, Corporator Sheshagiri, and Division Presidents Keshav, Manikanth, Rajesh, Krishna Reddy, Prasad, Prashant, Siddarth Bheem Raju, Gajanand, Sriramulu, Ramesh, Srinivas Balaram, and several women leaders.
