In a shocking incident from Punganur, a young student, identified as Sathvika Nagasri, sustained a skull fracture after allegedly being struck on the head by her Hindi teacher, Saleema Basha. The teacher reportedly hit the student with a school bag containing a steel lunch box in a fit of anger over some mischief in class.
Initially, Sathvika’s mother — who works as a Science teacher in the same school — did not grasp the seriousness of her daughter’s injury. However, when the girl later complained of severe headaches and dizziness, she was taken to multiple hospitals before being shifted to a private hospital in Bengaluru
