Samantha Celebrates 14 Years of Cinematic Journey: A Look Back

As Samantha finished 14 years in the film industry, her friends, colleagues, own family, and especially Nayanthara congratulated her.

In 2010, Samantha entered the movie enterprise. Her first movie Ye Maaya Chesave, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. She performed the role of Jessie in that movie and stole hearts of her fans with her overall performance.

On the units of Ye Maaya Chesave, she met her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, who co-starred together with her inside the film. However, they have divorced.

Samantha shared on her Instagram story how fast time flies. In the video, she is counting on her fingers and looking surprised that 14 years have already passed. She wrote, “14 years already….whaaaaa!!”

Overjoyed, Samantha thanked her fans, writing, “Could have been a little subtle, but what the heck. I love you most!”

Nayanthara heartfully congratulated Samantha on Instagram. She shared a photo of Samantha on her Instagram writing, “Congratulations on 14 years, Sam. More electricity to you.” Nayanthara and Samantha starred in 2022 Tamil movie Kathuvakula Rendu Kadhal.

Samantha has acted in over 49 films.She has won several awards, which include four Filmfare Awards, Nandi Awards, one Vijay Award, six South Indian International Film Awards and three Film Awards

Samantha diagonised with myositis and she took a few days off filming. Soon after her recovery, her films Shaakuntalam and Kushi were released.

Her ongoing project is the Indian chapter of Citadel with Raj & DK, with actor Varun Dhawan also in it. She is also hosting a podcast called “Take 20”, which focuses on health.
