Hyderabad, September 5 2025 – Dynamic youth leader Shashank Pasupuleti, known for his decade-long activism and community service, has been officially appointed as the Coordinator of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department.
The appointment was confirmed by Sri Ponnam Ashok Goud, Chairman of the TPCC Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department, who lauded Shashank’s commitment to justice, transparency, and accountability. The letter emphasized that the department will continue its work under the leadership and vision of Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Sri Rahul Gandhi, Hon’ble AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC Legal Cell Chairman Abhishek Manu Singhvi, TPCC President & Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy, TPCC Vice President & Legal Cell In-Charge Dr. Kota Neelima, and TPCC Legal Chairman Sri Ponnam Ashok Goud.
With a strong track record, Shashank currently serves as the State BC Youth Vice President under the leadership of Sri R. Krishnaih, relentlessly championing BC reservations through movements, meetings, and awareness campaigns for the past ten years.
He is also a State Executive Member of the Munnur Kapu Community (Kacheguda), with deep grassroots connections throughout Telangana, working to unify and strengthen the community.
In addition, Shashank holds key cultural and social positions – as Vice President of Deccan Manav Seva Samiti and General Secretary of Secunderabad Ganesh Mahotsava Samiti, where he actively promotes Hindu cultural and traditional programs.
Beyond his political and social leadership, Shashank is the Founder of Word of India, a news platform dedicated to fearless and authentic journalism, amplifying public issues with integrity and truth.
Welcoming his appointment, Sri Ponnam Ashok Goud praised Shashank as a dedicated and committed leader who will inspire young advocates to embrace the Congress Party’s values.
Shashank, in turn, reaffirmed his mission to work for women’s safety, the protection of fundamental rights, and spreading awareness about RTI, while placing his trust in the guidance of Dr. Kota Neelima and Sri Ponnam Ashok Goud.
