Bengaluru: The Anti-Narcotics division of Karnataka Police raided a rave party organised at a farmhouse on the outskirts of Bengaluru, said officials on Monday.
The party, involving techies and Telugu actors, was held in the G.M Farmhouse in the Singena Agrahara area near Electronics City, till the early hours.
The police seized 17 MDMA tablets and cocaine from the scene. A party hosted a number of attendees and guests that included techies, Telugu actors, models, among others from Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh.
Over 25 people from Andhra Pradesh were brought by the host to Bengaluru for the event as revealed by police sources. Additionally, among the papers surrendered to the police was a pass showing that an MLA from Andhra Pradesh had been present on the said party as a guest. There is information which suggests that the party had been organized by someone who lived in Hyderabad as seen in initial findings.
Meanwhile, according to the police, the two men who were clad in salwar–suit entered into the Akruti Arcade apartment located at SR Nagar. After noticing that the flat of one Venkateshwar Rao was locked, the burglars broke open the lock and entered into the flat. The duo then took away valuables before leaving the place.
