Mumbai: Telugu actresses Hema and Ashi Roy’s blood samples have tested positive for the consumption of drugs at a rave party in Bengaluru.
The rave party bust happened near Electronics City in Bengaluru. The blood samples of the people who were in the party at the busted rave party were sent to a laboratory for testing, according to the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda who spoke to IANS.
The blood samples of around 59 men tested positive for the drugs while 27 women were also tested positive.
Both Hema and Aashi Roy were present at the party they say. Hema, who was also detained by the cops, said that she has to be excused as she has to go to the washroom and then recorded a misleading video. She reportedly asked with the police not to arrest her and to keep her identity concealed.
The rave party case, which was initially was handled by the Electronic City Police, was then transferred and given to to the Hebbagodi Police station before taken over by the Central Crime Branch. The rave party also had MDMA pills, crystals, hydro cannabis and also cocaine.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda earlier said that popular Telugu actor Hema was present at the rave party. Speaking to reporters, Police Commissioner confirmed that the actress attended the rave party.
Earlier, Hema had made a video in Bengaluru saying that she was in fact in Hyderabad, and denying her presence at that rave party. She was trying to mislead the public, but her lie was caught by everyone.
