Enforcement Directorate officials investigating the alleged Delhi Liquor Policy scam filed a fresh chargesheet before the Special Court of Investigation Bureau (CBI) at the Rouse Avenue Complex in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao and BRS Kalvakuntala Kavita’s daughter have not been included in the entire chargesheet, becoming a hot topic in the political arena.
Although Kavitha had previously been interrogated twice in relation to the Delhi liquor policy fraud and was identified in the two charge sheets, the ED has neatly left her name off of the third and supplemental charge sheet.
Meanwhile, the central agency filed charges against Magunta Raghava, the son of YSR Congress party MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy from Ongole, and other accused South Group associates of Kavitha.
Moreover, Rajesh Joshi and Gautam Malhotra, who were arrested on February 7 and 8, respectively, were also named by the ED. February 10 saw the arrest of Raghava.
The hearing on this additional charge sheet will be heard by the Special CBI court on April 14. It will determine whether or not this most recent charge sheet must be considered when making the decision.
But many people are puzzled by Kavitha’s absence from the charge sheet, not even as a witness.
It is now unknown whether the ED authorities will file a separate charge sheet against her or whether they are pleased with the answers she provided during the interrogation. The BRS leader is secure, at least for the time being.
Kavitha, who had been quiet for a time, is now actively taking part in events; nevertheless, she has recently been ordered to take a three-week bed rest due to an avulsion fracture. Kavitha posted about the news on social media and requested people to contact her office if they needed any help or wanted to communicate.
