Ambedkar’s 132 birth anniversary is celebrated every year by his followers and admirers. The celebrations were held in Regatte village, Kanagal mandal, under the auspices of the Ambedkar Youth Association. The event was attended by many young people and children, who paid tribute to Ambedkar’s legacy and pledged to work for the upliftment of all oppressed people in society.
Gnanendra Prasad, Mahender Nagaraju, Naresh Mahesh, and Rakesh, members of the Ambedkar Youth Association, spoke at the event. They urged the youth to take inspiration from Ambedkar’s life and work towards building a just and equal society. They also stressed the importance of education in solving social problems and said that everyone should work in.
