Bandlaguda Jagir, June 13: Bandlaguda Jagir is steadily emerging as one of the fastest-developing urban regions in the Hyderabad outskirts, with major civic infrastructure projects gaining momentum across several residential colonies. In a significant boost to local development, Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud on Saturday laid the foundation stone for CC roads and drainage line works worth ₹2.05 crore in Tirumala Gardens and adjoining localities.
The ambitious infrastructure project will benefit residents of Padma Shri Hills, Tirumala Gardens, Narsa Reddy Colony, PNT B Block, and Doctor Colony under the 121st Division. The proposed works are aimed at improving road connectivity, drainage management, sanitation, and overall quality of life for thousands of residents.
Over the past few years, Bandlaguda Jagir has witnessed rapid urban expansion, with increasing residential settlements driving the demand for improved civic amenities. The latest initiative is being viewed as another major step toward transforming the municipality into a well-planned and modern urban zone.
Addressing residents during the foundation-laying ceremony, MLA Prakash Goud reiterated his commitment to ensuring comprehensive development across the constituency. He emphasized that infrastructure development remains a top priority and assured that all essential civic works would be executed on a fast-track basis to meet the growing needs of the population.
The event was attended by former Mayor Mahender, Sagar Goud, Suresh Goud, Suman, Nadeem, Raju Yadav, Hafeez Khan, presidents of various colonies, association representatives, Tirumala Gardens Vice-President Venkatesh, Govardhan Venu, Vedic scholars Srinivas Sharma and Y. Srikanth, General Secretary Dasharath, Joint Secretary Suresh Jannu, K. Bhaskar Reddy, Malla Reddy, Vijay, Mayuresh, Tirupati Rao, Muralidhar Goud, Harinath Goud, Advocate Bhavani Shankar, and several residents.

Former Corporator Padmavathi, Papayya Yadav, and Tirumala Gardens Colony President K. Padmanabha Reddy played a key role in coordinating the programme and extending support to the development initiative.
With multiple civic projects being taken up simultaneously, residents expressed optimism that Bandlaguda Jagir is on course for sustained growth and improved urban infrastructure, positioning itself as a model municipality in the region.
