Hyderabad: In honor of International Dance Day 2024, Kandula Kuchipudi Natyalyam arranged a spectacular dance celebration in Shilparamam, Madhapur, bringing together performers from many classical traditions.
The stage was ignited by Ravi Kuchipudi’s performance of “Mooshika Vahana” and “Jayamu Jayamu Lalitha Kala Vaaniki,” while Debasish Pattnaik displayed the lyrical beauty of Odissi with “Angikam – Odissi” and a moving performance of “Mahurashtakam.”
Mohiniyattam’s renditions of the Hindi Bhajan “Aaj Aye Shaam Mohe” and the ageless lullaby “Omanathinkal Kidavo” by Swarnadipa weave a spell. While Bharatanatyam performances by Rishikesh and Shakthi Sanjana Seerala enchanted the audience, Rajib Ghosh’s Kathak performance, which included “Shiv Vandana” and a fascinating “Tarana,” captivated the crowd.
The evening also featured riveting performances of ‘Shiva Tandavam’ and ‘Abhang’. The event was attended by Vedantam Satya Narasimha Sastry, Sanjay Kumar Joshi, and Jayalakshmi Ranganayaki.
