Veteran Actor Kota Srinivasa Rao Passes Away at 83

Renowned Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Hyderabad after battling a prolonged illness. He was 83 years old. Known for his immense contribution to Indian cinema, his death has left a deep void in the Telugu film industry and political circles alike.

With a career spanning over four decades, Kota acted in more than 750 films across Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam languages. He was especially known for his powerful villainous and character roles, bringing depth and nuance to every performance. His distinct voice, expressive eyes, and impeccable timing made him a favorite among filmmakers and audiences alike.
