Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 Celebrates Tribal Culture in New Delhi

The Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 is being held from March 18 to 30 at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi, celebrating the rich cultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit of India’s tribal communities. The event is organised by the TRIFED in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and was inaugurated by Jual Oram.

The festival features over 200 stalls representing 78 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras and more than 300 tribal artisans, offering a wide range of handicrafts, handlooms, and traditional products. Visitors can directly interact with artisans, promoting cultural exchange and enhancing market access for tribal communities.

A major highlight of the fest is the “Forest-to-Plate” initiative, where participants present authentic tribal cuisines. The event also includes live craft demonstrations and vibrant cultural performances by over 400 tribal artists, showcasing traditional music and dance forms.

Additionally, the Bharat Tribes Business Conclave provides a platform for policymakers, industry leaders, and tribal entrepreneurs to discuss sustainable development, innovation, and protection of indigenous knowledge.

The festival reflects ongoing efforts to promote tribal livelihoods, preserve cultural heritage, and strengthen inclusive economic growth in India.
