Actor Racha Ravi Makes Literary Debut with “Nee Runam Teeredi Yetla?”

Popular actor Racha Ravi has now stepped into the literary world with his debut book “Nee Runam Teeredi Yetla?”, which was unveiled at a grand and emotionally charged event held at Prasad Labs, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Known for his impactful presence on screen, Ravi, whose original name is D. Ravikumar and who holds an M.Sc. in Psychology, introduced himself as a “new student in literature” while presenting a work deeply rooted in human emotions, gratitude, sacrifice, and relationships.The book launch turned into a significant cultural gathering with the presence of several eminent personalities from literature, cinema, media, and public life. Former Telangana Press Academy Chairman and Mandalam Media Director Allam Narayana attended the event as chief guest, while renowned poet and actor Tanikella Bharani added literary depth to the evening with his presence. Film writer Peddinti Ashok Kumar, TV5 CEO Murthy, Telangana BC Study Circle Director Dr. Mamidi Harikrishna, and Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar awardee Dr. Pasunoori Ravinder also participated in the programme and appreciated the author’s effort in bringing meaningful storytelling to readers.

The event further witnessed the presence of noted poet and lyricist Mounashri Mallik, senior actress Annapurnamma, along with publishers Venkat Siddareddy and Mahi Bezawada from Anvikshiki Publishers, who played a key role in bringing the book to readers.Several prominent authors and literary personalities, including Tanikella Bharani, praised Racha Ravi for beautifully capturing the essence of Telangana culture, traditions, and emotions through his writing. Speakers appreciated the way the book reflects the warmth of motherhood, the silent sacrifices of mothers, and the irreplaceable role grandmothers play in shaping families and values across generations. Many described the narrative as deeply emotional, relatable, and rooted in the soil of Telangana.
